We love El Chorro… and when I say love, I mean LOVE. It is hands down one of our favorite venues in Arizona. We love the intimacy of the venue, the private garden-feel, the decor, the incredible staff who make everyone feel so loved and important, and of course the wedding coordinator there… Lindsey is just the best! We were asked for the second year in a row to setup at El Chorro’s “I DO EXPERIENCE”… and we couldn’t have been more excited! It is their yearly open house for recently engaged couples to check out their property and get a feel for what a wedding would look like there. Their lineup of other wedding professionals who were also asked to come were all top of the line Arizona vendors… amazing artists and creatives… and we love every.single.one. of them.

We were placed on the south lawn with some of the most amazing people in the wedding industry and we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how our friends at Imoni Events, Classic Party Rentals, and The Flower Studio designed the space to look so magical and so beautiful. We could not help but take tons of photos. What a dream it would have been if this was really a wedding!

Enter our wonderful clients Ray + Katie. When a crazy storm rolled into Phoenix on their wedding day just a week before this event, causing the weather to be cold, rainy and windy, their wedding day still went on beautifully. The only thing that they regretted was not getting the beautiful portraits at El Chorro that they were most excited about! So when El Chorro’s I DO Experience came a few days later, we thought it would be a great idea to do a second portrait session with all the beautiful decor that Imoni Events and the Flower Studio put together! Of course it ended up raining AGAIN right as our session began, what else could we expect right?! After a while the rain parted, the sun came back out, and we made some beautiful portraits of these two and we couldn’t be happier!
