I cannot tell you how excited I am that it’s only Thursday and we have been able to post TWO blog posts this week! I am always amazed by how determined my husband is to get photos edited quickly and into the hands of our amazing couples. Our spring wedding season is officially just over halfway over. We have SIX weddings left and we feel SO fortunate to have had an incredible season this far. We cannot wait to see what the next two months have in store! We absolutely LOVED changing up our normal Saturday wedding days and photographing Alex & Charles’ Sunday brunch wedding! Here is a taste of their love story written by Alex:

“We originally met in 2007 at the University of Michigan. We were both signed up to attend a summer-long leadership training program with our church and we were in the same carpool down to Virginia Beach! While we felt an instant spark that summer, we did not start dating until a few years later. We have been together for over 8 years (yes, eight!) and it has been quite a journey! We have persevered through long distance, a move to Phoenix, career changes, and a lot of life’s ups and downs. God has been so faithful in growing us as individuals and as a couple over the course of our relationship and we are so excited to be taking this important step to unite our lives once and for all.”

We could not have photographed so much beauty if not for the amazing talent of our friend Sarah from Sarah’s Garden who pours her heart into all of her floral designs, and the brilliant wedding planning and perfect execution by Kris & Tyler from Konsider It Done Weddings.
