Happy Tuesday, friends! Our poor blog has seriously been neglected lately! We have several engagement shoots we still want to post, but we thought we would make a comeback with this adorable elopement at one of our favorite venues in Arizona. We haven’t blogged in a couple of months for all the best reasons: we have truly been able to have some amazing family time, travel, rest, play, work on our own marriage, set goals for our business, and then we have spent the last two weeks getting our little ones situated to 1st grade and Kindergarten and making sure they had what they needed to thrive in a new school. It’s been a whirlwind to say the least, but we are SO happy to be back to shooting and back to blogging!
I am SO excited about this post. Of course I love the images and how hard my husband worked on them but I am most excited about what these images represent. I swear every blog post I gush about how joyful our couples are, but I truly don’t know if Michael and Jennifer can be beat. I was so happy watching their joy on their wedding day that I swear my heart flipped in my chest, my eyes were brought to tears so many times, and I can’t say that I have EVER witnessed a couple more in love than these two. From Michael wiping his tears during their first look and saying “Wow, you are so beautiful. You are the most beautiful woman in the world” over and over again as he cried, to Jennifer walking down the ceremony aisle and Michael pulling her into his arms and into a dance at the end of the aisle before he made her his wife (even the officiant walked away to give them a moment), to the laughter in every moment as they walked, as they talked, as they lovingly looked at each other… I am getting chills just writing this. Andrew and I left their wedding that night with deep confirmation in our souls that we are doing exactly what we are supposed to be doing and people like Michael and Jennifer make our job so fulfilling, so exciting, so moving, and so humbling.
I will let their joyful expressions below tell the story of their day, but first I will say: Michael and Jennifer: Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for letting us partake in such a sacred day. Thank you for letting us serve you and support you. Thank you for loving each other so deeply and for being such an example of unconditional love. We wish you both ALL the happiness this world has to offer. And more. <3 -A&EJ
