This week has been a whirlwind! We have been battling the flu for two weeks now and we cannot seem to get better. This past weekend we had two beautiful weddings, meetings, and an engagement shoot to balance all while not feeling well, so we are extremely thankful for DayQuil and friends who have come over to love on us and run our errands for us. When we think about what makes our business run, it’s definitely not just Andrew and I. It’s also ALL of our loved ones behind the scenes who rearrange their schedules to help us to be successful… whether that’s watching our little ones, running our errands, letting us borrow their camera equipment when ours unexpectedly breaks the day before a wedding, or even just sending us encouraging texts and prayers to lift our spirits. So to all of you THANK YOU. You are the LIFE behind Andrew Jade Photo and we could not do this without you. We are so, so grateful.
With that being said, we adore Max + Candice. Candice’s family has been family-friends of ours for many, many years. Just last summer we captured her sister’s wedding in beautiful Washington, and last Saturday was finally HER turn. We were so amazed when we arrived on the wedding day and saw Candice’s vision for her day come to life. Candice worked so hard over the last 6+ months and designed the entire day by herself… she even went as far as to do yard work, make all of her paper goods, and handle each and every detail. She is so talented, and we are so happy that she was able to have the wedding of her dreams!
On the wedding day, she was full of laughter and joy and I am not sure that I saw her stop smiling once. Even while we bustled her dress before the reception and she was away from her guests, she was smiling. She had waited for this day to come for over two years, and it felt like a dream to her that it was really here. Watching Max look at and interact with Candice throughout the day was so special- he is so adoring of her… even when they are not together, he looks around to see where she is. They locked eyes many times, and EVERY time… we saw Candice blush. The giddy, “butterflies in your stomach” feeling was very evident between these love birds and we LOVE that they still feel this way about each other even after many years of relationship. Candice + Max, you are perfect together and bring so many JOY to everyone around you. We could not be happier for you both! -A&EJ
