Jade and Eddy met during their freshman year of high school. They were sitting in English class near each other, and Jade was immediately annoyed by how much Eddy talked during class. Eddy, on the other hand, found it amusing that some random girl thought he was annoying, and it encouraged him even more! Despite their first impressions, Jade thought that Eddy was cute and had a good sense of humor, and Eddy thought she was beautiful and easy to joke with.
After high school, Jade made plans to go to Northern Arizona University, 3 hours away from Eddy. As she was preparing to leave, they both had the overwhelming feeling that being apart just didn’t feel right. Jade’s college career at NAU only lasted a year before she was longing to be reunited with Eddy.
Jade and Eddy both have a love for all things Christmas, so last year during their annual Christmas trip to Flagstaff, Eddy arranged for their rental home to be entirely decorated for the holiday. Before they left for the light parade, Eddy knelt down in front of the twinkle lights of the Christmas tree and asked Jade to marry him. It was magical, and festive and intimate.
When it came to planning their perfect wedding day, Jade and Eddy turned to Pinterest for inspiration. They both wanted something that was timeless and classic, while still reflecting the easy going and loving spirit of their relationship. Eddy has always know he wanted to wear a navy blue suit, so that set the stage for their color scheme, and we LOVE that they incorporated deep colors and beautiful floral!
We absolutely loved capturing the love story of high school sweethearts… turned husband and wife! Congratulations Jade & Eddy!
