They met in Junior High. In a small city in Alaska. She told her best friend that she was going to marry him one day. A few years later, they felt a spark and started dating. They grew up together, pursued careers together, pushed each other towards goals and dreams, supported each other and fell deeply in love. Then they decided together to leave their cold state and move to the land of the Sun.

When Jamie told me her love story over the phone that first day I connected with her, I was either overly emotional that day OR her story was such a romantic real-life fairytale that it just gave me all the feels! I loved her that moment on the phone (and her amazing laugh), and I was instantly inspired by how long they had been together and how they continued to support and respect each other after all these years. Marriage for them was just always meant to be. Childhood romances are rare, so when I hear of one, it is SO incredibly special.

Connor and Jamie’s wedding day was flawless. The weather was cold and rainy but it worked completely in our favor and the sky became clear exactly when we needed it to. Andrew and I loved watching the joy on their faces all day and meeting all of their best friends and family members who mostly all traveled from Alaska to be there.
