I should first start this post by shouting from the rooftops “Happy Mother’s Day!” I have wanted to post this blog post all week and it has seemed nearly impossible as we have been so sick over here. And even today I am on the couch with a stomach bug, but I absolutely could not wait any longer for Carly and Scott to see a glimpse of their beautiful wedding day!

Andrew and I have been anticipating this day for over a year as Carly is a brilliant artist (CLEMENTINE STUDIO) and one of the most laid back and REAL people we have ever met. We knew her wedding was going to be unique and become a favorite of ours. When we met Scott at their engagement session several months ago, I don’t know that we have ever laughed so much! We clicked with them instantly, they were on board with our crazy photo ideas, and by the time the sun set that day, we did not want our time with them to end! They are the type of people that others are naturally drawn to- they are content and happy and full of life and adventure. They have fun together and include everyone else in their laughter, they treat each other with kindness and so much respect…we just love them!!

I will let these pictures tell the story of their day better than I could in words, but I do have to say- Andrew and I absolutely loved every moment of the day, every member of their stellar wedding vendor team, every intimate moment and boisterous laugh that we witnessed… but above all- we LOVE the way these two diligently and joyfully love each other.
