Shane and Jenn first met on a double date with two of their close friends. Their friends had been pushing them to go out for months… telling them they just knew they would be perfect for each other! After some reluctance, they agreed to the date, had the BEST time, and could not wait to see each other again!

The first time I met with these two, the first thing I noticed about them was how comfortable they were with each other. They arrived in jeans, spent the majority of our meeting joking and laughing together, and when I left, I swear I smiled all day. Their joy was contagious, and it was so evident just how much fun they have together. When I asked them what qualities they loved most about one another, their lists were extensive. But at the end, Jenn said, “He makes me laugh all the time”. Shane followed up with, “I love that she actually laughs at my jokes!”. I think one of the most important qualities in a lifelong relationship is LOTS of laughter, and these two certainly have that part down. It is such a JOY to watch them interact.

Their entire wedding day was filled with that genuine laughter from the bride and groom, to their wonderful families, to all of their guests and friends that they surrounded themselves with. I also loved how particular they wanted their wedding day. Shane was adamant about seeing Jenn for the first time as she walked down the aisle, and that moment was SO precious for them. They held true to their values, and the emotion that flowed from it all was so beautiful. Over the last year, we have grown to love these two like family, and their wedding day was so special for us as we could not WAIT to witness them become husband and wife.
