There are several reasons why we think we have the best job in the world. The first is that we attract happy couples who, generally speaking, just want to get married so they aren’t stressed out on their wedding day. That’s a big one 🙂 Second is that we get to do something we love by capturing people on the happiest day of their lives and giving them memories to last a lifetime; we do not know any other job that we would prefer to be doing at this very moment in our lives. Third, and by no means the least important of the three, we get to work with people we love and who share our same philosophy when it comes to weddings, which is this; we are not just in the photography/planning/videography/etc business, we are in the “do-whatever-it-takes-to-make-our-clients-happy-and-have-an-amazing-wedding-day business”. When we get to work with other wedding professionals who share our passion of going above and beyond to make our brides and grooms happy, we love our job even more! If you are looking for DJs who embody this philosophy, Dave and Drea are at the top of the list.

Let me just put it out there that Dave and Drea are two of the coolest people in the industry. They are, in fact, so cool that when we first met them we were a little intimidated by them (we never told them this ;). We felt like Desert House groupies because we were always so excited to work with them and just hang out. 🙂 Over the years, though, we are glad that they have become good friends of ours.

We talked to Dave and Drea about doing this photo shoot simply so that we had a reason to hang out outside of work 🙂 Both of our schedules are busy and it’s hard to make time for get-togethers. More than anything though, we really wanted to capture who they are aside from Desert House Productions. We wanted to focus on their marriage, their relationship, and see who they were when they aren’t behind the DJ booth. It was such a great time; we literally laughed our way through the entire shoot!
