Omni Montelucia Resort Wedding Photography: Jack and Nila

Boy, do I have a treat for you today! We are so excited to be posting Jack & Nila’s magical wedding day! We absolutely love these two! I am going to let the images speak for themselves, but for now, here is a little glimpse into their love story:

During their last semester of high school, Jack and Nila first met in math class. Jack thought Nila was shy and cute and he loved her smile, and Nila was attracted to his humor and intelligence, even though he tried to cheat off of her paper. Their first date was Prom, and after graduation, Jack pursued Nila until she agreed to date in college.

Over the 8 years that they have been together, Jack & Nila spent 3 of those years dating long distance as Jack finished law school. Long distance can grow couples apart, but it only brought these two closer together. The distance challenged them to work on their relationship in ways that they had never experienced before, and refine their communication skills. It was during this time that they both realized that they definitely had something special together and that it was worth fighting for. On their 8 year dating anniversary, Jack and Nila ventured to the Royal Palms Resort, their favorite resort in Arizona. Jack planned a private dinner for them at T. Cooks, and he was sure to add in every romantic detail, including an abundance of rose petals and candles. After dinner, they walked around the property, enjoying the quiet evening, and Jack proposed on the lawn in front of the Orange Grove.

As newlyweds, Jack and Nila look forward to one little thing in particular- coming home to each other after a long day. After all of the long distance that their relationship has endured, they can’t wait to cuddle up every night at home together.
