Carlo + Athena are so inspiring. I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart, and we just feel so lucky to know them. From the minute I met with them inside of their beautiful home, I was just amazed by them. They both work full time, are extremely talented and respected scientists, they are so humble, they travel the world researching, and somehow they also manage to balance 3 young children… and 3 children who are so evidently loved, taken care of, and tenderly supported. In fact, their daughter had a recital scheduled the morning of the wedding, and Carlo and Athena handled it with such grace. They would never dream of missing it, so they rearranged their wedding plans to accommodate it and came straight to their wedding venue afterwards. They both have a gentle and genuine spirit about them, and you can see the love in their eyes for life, for each other, and for their loved ones.

I love Carlo and Athena’s love story. It is their story to tell, but I will share that Athena waited patiently for many years until she could have the wedding day of her dreams and they could make it happen, and I swear, when the day finally came, she was beaming ALL day- so confident, content, and just about the most beautiful bride (inside and out) that we have ever seen. We LOVED watching Carlo and Athena all day together- the way they love each other, and how they are completely committed to one another, and we loved the excitement on their children’s faces as everyone celebrated them. It was TRULY a JOYOUS day, and their stellar team of wedding professionals made the day and the decor insanely beautiful. It was all so perfect and will forever be one of our favorite weddings!
