Woah, are we excited about this stunning wedding! We had no idea what to expect as far as decor when the wedding day came around, and let us start by saying that Outstanding Occasions and Flower Studio absolutely blew this wedding out of the water! It was so magical and EVERY single detail was meticulously placed, perfectly planned, and beautifully matched the overall design. It all perfectly represented what the bride and groom wanted, and I caught Kristen many times throughout the day just speechless as she looked around at the wedding of her dreams, and realized that it was HER wedding!

Casey + Kristen are one of the most wonderful couples we have had the privilege of photographing. They met in junior high (and Kristen totally asked her friend to see what Casey thought about her!), started dating a few years later and became high school sweethearts, remained by each other’s side through college, stayed committed through the ups and downs of life, several moves around the country including a move to New York City (where they currently reside), and watching and attending many of their friends weddings and marriages over the years as they waited for their turn. Finally the stars aligned and it was their turn at last! During the toasts, their loved ones voiced again and again how mature their love was from such an early age and how wild it was that everyone around knew when they were just young teens that they would be together forever. It was never a question, always just a fact. When I walked into Kristen’s getting ready suite the day of the wedding, I asked her excitedly if she was ready and she replied “This is 15 years in the making! I have never been more ready for anything in my entire life!”

The day was packed full of so much emotion, including Kristen opening gifts from Casey full of inside jokes over the years and special moments in their relationship, Casey’s joyful expression as he saw his new bride for the first time and how moved he was watching her walk down the aisle towards him. The way all of their guests watched these two during their first dance, and how Casey and Kristen held onto each other as they danced as if no one else was in the room. It was so beautiful, so perfect… and after 15 years together, their kind of love is still new, still exciting, and still passionate. What an inspiration!!
