Wow, what a year!! We cannot believe that 2015 has already come to a close! It has been the BEST year of our business so far with 41 unique and gorgeous weddings, and we have had the MOST incredible couples every single weekend! This wedding post is our last one of the year, featuring our last wedding of 2015, and we could not ask for a more perfect way to end such a fabulous year!
Kyle + Jessica might just be our favorite couple ever. It was a wild turn of events that led them to us after many disappointments in their wedding planning journey, and we knew as soon as we finished our first phone call with them that the Lord had led them directly to us, and that our relationship with them was meant to be much deeper than just wedding photography. The first thing I noticed about them was their joyfulness. In our many encounters, all I have seen is joy… and joy so full that it spills over to everyone around them. It’s contagious, it’s inspiring, and I don’t know how they do it. Over the course of their planning, it’s almost comical how much has gone wrong for them… from lost bridesmaids dresses, to a missing ring, to having to re-book most of their vendors- they seemed to have a case of bad luck. As if that wasn’t enough, when the wedding day finally arrived and everything was finally perfect, the sky opened up out of no where and POURED RAIN! Andrew and I rushed to check on Kyle and Jessica, and again, the first thing we witnessed was JOY. We were completely blown away!! Through every little hiccup, they have focused on what was most important- not the details, but the marriage and the ceremony, and being united as one. They truly understand their purpose, and the most important part of their day to them was always their union. They are our dream couple, and everything we hope our wedding clients will be. There is so much more to a wedding than pretty details and pleasing your guests, and they truly have it right. What a joy! What a day!

Reliving this special wedding through the memories captured in these touching photos fills my heart with joy, love and gratitude. Kyle and Jess created a magical day, in every way… The perfect “bride and groom”! They captured us all through their open expression of heartfelt vows to one another, admist their tears and laughter. Their physical beauty is obvious but it was the inner beauty of the commitment to love and honor each other’s heart that was the true gift they bequeathed to all who bore witness to this promise. I feel so blessed to have been able to share in on their beautiful ceremony, watch my nephew marry the love of his life, and dance the night away surrounded by the people I love!
