Ahhhhh these two… first of all, shooting at the Royal Palms is one of our absolute favorite things- there is so much character there, so much beauty around every corner and we could not love the staff there any more. Secondly, I want to let the photos speak for themselves but we LOVE how much these two love each other. From the flirting to the smiles to the romance, Tarik and Adrianna are a match made in heaven! We knew we loved them from the minute their faces appeared on our first Skype call several months ago. We feel SO honored to get to document their wedding day and cannot wait to watch all the beauty that our friends at Outstanding Occasions put together for this one! Enjoy! -EJ
I am so excited to be posting this shoot today! Not just because this couple is gorgeous or because we are SO excited for their wedding this December with Imoni Events (even though we are!), but because these two are so much FUN! We love their bold style, the way they giggle when they are together, and above all else- their CONFIDENCE.
When I first chatted with Krystle on the phone, her confidence was the first thing I noticed about her. She is joyful and secure in who she is and that is something that I highly respect. Everyone loves to be around Bo and Krystle as they bring in so much LIFE and LAUGHTER, and we can only imagine what their amazing wedding is going to be like! I am sure full of such amazing people… we cannot wait to witness and document it all!
For now, enjoy this spunky shoot and this adorable couple! :) -EJ
I don’t know what to say about this incredible engagement session but WOW! When Andrew and I were newly married AND newly pregnant with our first, we spent our first anniversary in Payson and visited the Mogollon Rim. I fell in love with the Rim that day as Andrew captured me with our precious little baby growing in my belly. For years it was a sacred place for us. A place that we went to as often as we could to feel the breeze in our hair and the sun on our faces. To look out at the amazing view and to feel such peace and contentment.
When Tyler and Jenna wanted something different for their engagement session, I immediately thought of the Rim. I had been dying to take other people there and show them our sacred place. I wanted to watch their joy as they looked out over the valley, and to photograph their hair blowing in the wind. Andrew and I were SO excited when they agreed, and the session was even more amazing than I could have imagined. We LOVE this place, we LOVE this couple. It was perfect!
Just a few more weeks until these lovebirds tie the knot and we cannot wait to see all the magic that our dear friend Andrea Leslie Weddings has planned for their day! Enjoy! -EJ
What a COMPLETE honor it was to photograph the I Do Experience (an experience for newly engaged couples to visit and see all that El Chorro has to offer for their wedding day)!! We were even more honored to see our images from this shoot featured recently on an established wedding blog: Every Last Detail. Thank you for the beautiful feature ELD, and thank you to our amazing vendor team who made this shoot so amazing AND the entire I Do Experience so amazing!!

Happy Tuesday, friends! Our poor blog has seriously been neglected lately! We have several engagement shoots we still want to post, but we thought we would make a comeback with this adorable elopement at one of our favorite venues in Arizona. We haven’t blogged in a couple of months for all the best reasons: we have truly been able to have some amazing family time, travel, rest, play, work on our own marriage, set goals for our business, and then we have spent the last two weeks getting our little ones situated to 1st grade and Kindergarten and making sure they had what they needed to thrive in a new school. It’s been a whirlwind to say the least, but we are SO happy to be back to shooting and back to blogging!
I am SO excited about this post. Of course I love the images and how hard my husband worked on them but I am most excited about what these images represent. I swear every blog post I gush about how joyful our couples are, but I truly don’t know if Michael and Jennifer can be beat. I was so happy watching their joy on their wedding day that I swear my heart flipped in my chest, my eyes were brought to tears so many times, and I can’t say that I have EVER witnessed a couple more in love than these two. From Michael wiping his tears during their first look and saying “Wow, you are so beautiful. You are the most beautiful woman in the world” over and over again as he cried, to Jennifer walking down the ceremony aisle and Michael pulling her into his arms and into a dance at the end of the aisle before he made her his wife (even the officiant walked away to give them a moment), to the laughter in every moment as they walked, as they talked, as they lovingly looked at each other… I am getting chills just writing this. Andrew and I left their wedding that night with deep confirmation in our souls that we are doing exactly what we are supposed to be doing and people like Michael and Jennifer make our job so fulfilling, so exciting, so moving, and so humbling.
I will let their joyful expressions below tell the story of their day, but first I will say: Michael and Jennifer: Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for letting us partake in such a sacred day. Thank you for letting us serve you and support you. Thank you for loving each other so deeply and for being such an example of unconditional love. We wish you both ALL the happiness this world has to offer. And more. <3 -A&EJ
